Welcome

This is a space to attend and befriend worry and anxiety.

A warm welcome to you!

Many of us suffer from the weight of worry. It can take over our thinking and sabotage our happiness, preventing us from feeling safe and at ease in this moment.

In this four part course, we choose not to run from our anxiety. Instead we turn towards it and learn to care for it by embodying four states:

  1. solidity
  2. kindness
  3. wise protection
  4. smile

This is a self-paced practical course to suit our unique circumstances. Whether you choose to set aside a morning and create a mini-retreat for yourself or explore bite-sized practices whenever you want, you set the pace and there is no pressure. This course meets you just where you are.

May this course be a space to strengthen our hearts and minds.

"My anxiety levels have dropped and I'm becoming better at calming. I'm so grateful for this course."

What course participants have said...

I'm so grateful

I am finding the course really beneficial! My anxiety levels have dropped and I'm becoming better at calming. I'm so grateful for this course x

Feeling the benefit

Benefitting hugely from your words, Orlaith. Thank you.

Recommend to others

I have already bought this course for my daughter and was recommending another friend to investigate it yesterday. I think it is done with wisdom and awareness that anyone suffering from anxiety can be in a fragile place and this course accommodates that perfectly.

I am enjoying the exploration and am interested in how easy it is to move my focus from the anxiety.

Comforting and helpful

The course has been so comforting and helpful. I will be going back to do it again as there is a lot to take on board. Thank you Orlaith.

A great positive impact, reminding me to go slow, to breathe - and reminding me of the almost instant benefits which flow from remembering this, and how these benefits can accumulate.

FAQ

  • How much time will this take?

The lessons are all bite-sized, so you can train for 15-20 minutes at a time. Each section has practices for you to explore at your own pace. Some students do one chapter and then practice for a week or two before returning. Other students create a morning or afternoon retreat and go through the whole course, then choose an area of focus to practice with.

  • I've been a worrier since I was a child. Can I ever change?

Yes you can! Think of your worry as a really strong habit - with this course we're going to train ourselves to take care of this habit so that it doesn't control us and we can be more free and happy.

  • Is this for people with experience in meditation?

This is for everyone - no experience required! Orlaith guides us through all the mindfulness practices and shares meditation tips along the way.
